Harper Zaun graduated from University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction.

Harper grew up in Richmond and attended Collegiate School, where she played four years of varsity lacrosse. She also played travel lacrosse for the Richmond Strikers and was recruited by High Point University as an attacker, where she played lacrosse during her first year of college. Harper later transferred to University of Virginia for her sophomore year and was an active member of the club lacrosse team.

Harper has coached recreational and travel lacrosse since high school. She is one of the Cav Lax coaches for the 2030 team and also serves as the assistant varsity coach at St. Anne's-Belfield School.
